If used oil filters are taken to landfills without being properly processed, they can pose a potential threat to water supplies, public health and natural resources.
Central Ohio Oil’s used oil filter management service is capable of processing 12 million pounds of crushed oil filters per year.
We will arrive at your location with a box truck to collect the 55 gallon drums containing your used oil filters, and leave you the empty drums you require. For larger volume customers, we will arrive in our specifically designed bulk dumpster trailer that collects from our four-yard dumpsters. This allows you to keep your facility clean and free of unsightly 55 gallon drums.
We have created a cradle-to-grave process that produces raw materials for recycling and no by-products destined for a landfill. Your company can benefit by ensuring that there will be no adverse environmental impact from disposing of the oil filters in the landfill.
By using our Filter Management System, we will certify that all solids will be consumed in steel melting furnaces and all used oils be turned as an alternative fuel source such as a #4 fuel oil by reputable oil burners. Once we process your filters, we eliminate all environmental liabilities. In fact, we will even issue a Certificate of Used Oil Filter Recycling.
